Robust Control for Uncertain Fuzzy Systems with Both Distributed Delays and Input Delays

Abstract: This paper deals with the problems of robust control for uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with both distributed delays and input delays. The uncertainties are time-varying but norm-bounded. The purpose is to design state feedback fuzzy controllers such that the resulting closed-loop system is robustly stable. Sufficient conditions in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI) for the solvability of the problem are obtained by utilizing a proper Lyapunov functional together with some matrix transformation techniques. These LMIs can easily be solved in Matlab Toolbox, and thus give an convenient way to construct the desired controller.
